The conference highlighted the importance of the calibration and metrology functions in various aspects of life in general, focusing on the necessity for periodic calibration of medical equipment to assure that they are constantly ready to use, and to obtain accurate test results for fast & reliable diagnosis of providers of the medical services in the Arab World.
In addition, the conference discussed capacities of institutions and centers of metrology and calibration, and the roles of national authorities, maintenance agents, companies, and laboratories in providing the required services to providers of medical services.
Participants were introduced to the latest medical equipment through the exhibition of medical devices that accompanied the conference.
